With DCE staying at Manly, and his good mates Myles and Lussick soon to join him, and Foran joining us, the player power balance at the club will change significantly.
With no Glenn Stewart, Watmough, Foran and DCE surrounded by mates does that leave Brett Stewart feeling like a stranger in his own club?
Could Parra be an option? He will have a couple of good mates at the club, Manly may want to eliminate the risk of future destabilisation of the club and it could also free up some much salary cap space for them (and they do have ample back ups with Hiku, Gutherson and Trbejovic). If Stewart was to leave Parra would be the obvious choice, we have no fullback.
If we could get Manly to pay half of his contract while he was here I think that would be an excellent buy for us - a spine of Stewart, Foran, Norman and Peats would be sensational and Brett could tutor French before he joins first grade. Would be great to have that Foran-Stewart combo slot straight in.
I don't think it's beyond the realms of possibility. Does anyone think it's possible/probable - and would you welcome it?

But given he's at the end of his career, I think he'll want too much $.
Yes they can be broken, usually for more money though. Stewart would never leave Manly unless it was for more money and a longer deal and he is already on 600k.
The most important difference between Gordon and Stewart is that Gordon wants to get out and Stewart would want to stay as Prince, they just may not want to sign him for as long as he would like. It's just the same as Wat.
If we are interested and he wants to come for a year, fine. But he isn't going to do that for less than he's already big money deal. Be smart Parra.
Enough Manly players already.
Then again BA might find a 4yr deal for him like Watmough
Anyway, after the headlines today, maybe he is up for grabs in the near future?
After reading the article I also thought maybe we should have a play at him for all the reasons Richo has stated plus if we are signing an older and experienced fullback in Gordon, isn't Stewart similar albeit twice the player Gordon is?
I would love to take him off Manly.
Also, what sounds better, the prince of brookvale or the Prince of Parra?
Believe in the Bevvo
