"There's your mistake, your right there Eli. "Build the squad he wants".
That cant happen if the squad he wants can't be signed by R&R.
How does that get rectified.
Interesting. Ryles appears like a fantastic signing and has changed the clubs…"

Exactly bert, he knew what he was doing and that it was wrong
Approaching the referee and yelling "that's Bullshit!', then going on to argue, knowing there is an open mic that bullshit isn't swearing because we are men out here. What a tosser. They should really get rid of the mic on the refs.
I agree Ennis is a pest but does he do what's needed to give his team the best opportunity to win a game.......for sure he does. Do you not think it was the Dogs game plan all along to slow the big Souths pack down at every opportunity they got.
Gamesmanship can been displayed in many different forms, some good some bad to achieve a desired result.
Ennis rubbish doesn't work against the top sides, because those teams focus more on their game than Ennis. Souths obviously were bothered by the Bulldogs until the last 20 minutes. The ref summed it up perfectly, "you're reacting the way he wants you too"
Ennis' tactics almost worked last night.
Haha Des' unhappy with reffing last night and now will be calling Tony four times a day as opposed to two, he says.
McGuire summed it up well when he said, " at the start of the year they introduced a rule to stop captns approaching refs and slowing the momentum of attacking teams down, Hope they get it sorted out"
How hard would it be to stop the likes of Lyon, Smith and Ennis, consistently doing that!?
Very true mb. Mick's a pest alright but he instinctively seems to know how far he can push the limits. He is probably the most annoying & nigglely player in the NRL but u have to admire his passion & intensity.
I thought the ref handled it pretty well. Ennis knows how to stretch the line to the max without crossing it. The ref was telling Reynolds he knew what Ennis was up to and Reynolds should too. I don't know that Reynolds will cop time for a dangerous throw but if he does that was down to Ennis's niggling too. And if you punch him, it is not a matter of time in the bin, it is a suspension.
Time for the refs to man up and get on with the game - then blow a penalty because scum like mEnnis are not back the 10.
Lie-on, Princess Cammy and several others should be penalised out of the game in this way - then listen to them squeal.
Ennis made over 40 tackles & every single one he had his hands on either the ball or the face & was never penalised. Souths kept dropping the ball but every single time there was a hand on the ball yet no penalties. Then Dogs get a penalty in front of the posts for....you guessed it....hands on the ball.
The one thing I could agree with Hasler is the refs continue to get worse.....although last night all the decisions were going the Dogs way so can't see why they were whinging.
