Hi all,
After literally logging onto this website almost every day since 2005, i finally decided to join the madness yesterday & sign up! So yes, first time blogger - Very long time reader.
As i do most off seasons, in the last few weeks i have ripped out last years games off my Foxtel IQ for my Parra fix. Like others, i am pretty excited about some of the additions to our squad for the upcoming season, the evolution that will come with some of the types of players that we have recruited & the continued improvement of some of our home grown players - However watching these games of late & reflecting on the last few years, i tend to feel like the most influential disparity from our squad last year to this year will be the absence of Chris Sandow.
Being in management roles with direct reports working in close proximity to each other, you observe "team culture" and try and change it and evolve it, influence it, however at times it's like flogging a dead horse because the culture stems from the people you have in your team and how they impact and influence others. From the positive individuals, to the undercover players, the "recruiters", the manipulators etc.
While we all tried to ride the unicorn with Chrissy at some stage during his stint at the club, we all knew deep down he was a cancer to the club. This cancer has thankfully now been removed, but not only that..... Step in Kieran Foran, class on and off the field, a leader, a gentleman, a smart operator in the media, emotional intelligence a disciplined athlete, a "recruiter" of the right kind & you can't help but feel like this will be the piece of the puzzle we have been looking for.
Bring on 2016 & i look forward to contributing to this site long into the future..

Big welcome to the site bay25, nice blog to start off with, your right, the puzzle seems to be falling into place, lets hope we can continue to build on that, if BA has a bad season this year everything could fall apart, its all or nothing this year i believe.
Cheers
