The Problem

1. No Game Management. Don’t know if the media hype had gone to Moses’s head or we are trying to fix our for and against rather than grinding and building a foundation to win. But we have gone straight back to trying to score a try every play instead of playing the odds and grinding the opposition into the ground until the right time to go for the big play has been won by hard work.

2. We need options both sides used equally. If the opposition knows what you are going to do it is unlikely to succeed.

3. Get rid of Jennings and put Taka or Parry as left centre. We need to utilise Sivo. I know Jennings is still an elite defensive centre but he is incapable of creating opportunities for Sivo. We may look vulnerable defensively without him, but Parry will just have to learn. Parry is our long term option so put him in and let him learn.

  • Some fair points there Mr Coyote.

    • True Slugg. We lose so much momentum when Paolo and Evans go off. Alvaro and Tepai really add nothing. Why is BA even playing Tepai??? He is going to rugby. Fuck him off and play Oregon at least!

    • I totally agree.

I can’t believe I’m saying this but.......... I think we would be better off playing Mannah and Kaufusi off the bench instead of Alvaro and Moeroa.

Lets hope BA spots this but I wouldn’t hold your breath.

      • Tims apparently lost a lot of respect from a few people who matter at the club for the way he handled his demotion, he's on the nose, doubt he will be playing again.

        • Reckon Franks right snake -  what the hell happened to Kafusi and Tim - they would definitely offer more than either has and think has been the case all year for Tim. Who gives a brass snake, should do what’s best for the team. Hope he is match fit coz we could need him.

      •  Moeroa. going after the season gone, why play him last night.

parra bombed plenty of trys last night, and beat them selfs with the aid of the refs. i think sevo should have scored at least two trys maybe 3, manu bombed at least 3 , lane 2,,,,,,the eels should have won easy.

        • there is word around the eels was not keen  to play the storm or roosters  1 and 2 playing 3 and 4.

in the top 4, but are primed  to  play from 5th and 6th, which is there best chance to win the first semi final..

and  thats why blake ferguson was not played last night, as the eels will play it hard to beat the bronco's and manly .thats not saying the eels never tried last night, it says our best chance lay firmly, finishing 5th or 6th.

on  watching the titans game and bulldogs the played like touch  ,the ball was used widely from side to side.

which resulted in many dropped balls.

over the past 5 weeks    brad has trained the top 30 players hard  and sometimes more then once a day, i think its may be right brad wants to win the first semi from 5th or 6th , there ready i think.. this could be the plan there got to go deep into the play offs, gutho and moses say there got a plan and its not to get beat in the semi's its to win.

so could it be brads plan? he will try to win the comp from 5th or 6th....brown  can take 2 weeks for the shoulder charge which clear him to play in the first semi fresh,  and with fergo back with blake,, and  maybe taka playing back row... when we think about this,,, i ask do we realy want to play the storm  or roosters first game , no..

and as i see it  canberra will finish  3rd, and south or manly  4......so last night game was a warm up match.

brad said a few days back on fox, parra needs this game with the dogs and get in the grid, he got it....

  • Why the fuck were we rushing so much in the beginning it’s like we wanted to beat them by 40 for some reason. Moses is way too excitable and I felt like Dylan was unsure of himself tonight. Hopefully they get that balance back.

    • Dogs line speed was pretty quick so they were up in their faces all night. This cut down the amount of time they had to execute the plays and the fumbles resulted. Good coaching as far as Dean Pay goes; he's obviously analysed our attack with Moses and decided rushing him is the best way to combat it. It worked. Mitchell should've told the troops to stand deeper in attack to negate it, or chip a few over their heads in to make them think twice. But isn't this what the coaching staff are for?

  • There saying now on fox we can win without Blake Ferguson didn’t we win without him last 4 games, this suks
