Watching this match between the Eels and Dolphins is just extremely frustrating! The Eels started off really well leading 10-0! Realistically they didn't have much of a chance against the Dolphins but they began well.
Then the Dolphibs get a repeat set from referee Sutton ( Eels favourite referee) leads to Dolphins first try! Then the Dolphins next try again off a repeat set! Dolphins 3rd try ( which clearly wasn't a try ) but given by Referee Kline in the Bunker ( Eels 2nd favourite ref)!
Then in 2nd half Eels lose a captains challenge which they shouldn't have and Dolphins get down near Eels try line but Eels hold them out but Sutton gives a repeat set to Dolphins and Eels hold them out again and on the 4th tackle Sutton gives another repeat set and Dolphins score ! This game disgraceful! I hope Ryles gets up the refereeing in this match in his press conference!

Klein has an absolute howler every week yet never gets dropped. How can the standard of refereeing ever get any better if no one is held to account
Here is Gerard Suttons results refereeing all Parra games this year:
Its not just the loss Mallee. Its the way we lose under Sutton! Parra were right in the game against the Warriors and Panthers. In fact had momentum at crucial stages and then Sutton stepped in and changed the whole dynamic of the game. For example blatant knock on by Talagi in Panthers game leads to a try then a blatant forward pass in the same game leads to another Panthers try. Or the Warriors game where Parra are penalised downfield for tackling the kicker which lead to a try after Parra had all the momentum and would have had great field position. Yet all these decisions against Parra are let go in other games with other teams!
Not just repeat sets but Paulo's pass was not forward in the first half, dolphins 2nd try last pass was forward and there 3 try the bunker is Dolphins knock the ball on then award try. It must be frustrating for players and coaches across all teams as they are punished for saying something at their post match interview.
Just to get this straight everytime the eels lose it's the referees fault .
Just understand that n the other side of the park is a.much more talented athletic and husky side that had nothing with it ?
Maybe just maybe this is what Parra is a bottom tier outfit who struggles to recruit real talent and when it does it comes up short.
