Kenty has nothing against the Eels in fact he’s a closet Eels supporter. Paul is just doing his job and that is stirring controversy and commenting on how he see the play whilst making sure he’s copping a few favours from the agents.

I don't think the club, coach, or player - the 3 important parties in all of this - are too concerned about what is speculated in the media. This is an arse pimple compared to what was being thrown around last year. We're popular so we get alot of media.
I'm 100% confident this will all work itself out in good time. Kent hasn't ever said (as far as I know) that Gutho will be leaving Parra - All I've heard from most media types is that at the end of the day, when the dust settles, he will be staying at Parra.
I don't really like Kent - but I have to admit that his mail appears to be spot on alot of the time. I get the feeling he has built quite a large list of sorces over the years.
I think the managers are pushing hard because Parra came out and said they weren't making a decision on BA until the middle of the year. Managers want it wrapped up before then and the club is pretty much saying, we're happy to negotiate but you're not forcing us into overpaying, overcommitting or re-signing BA before we're ready.

The reality is the media pundits are paid to express an opinion, the more controversial the better, anything to illicit a passionate response.
