The Link Man Myth

After yesterdays performance surely those who have harped on about the necessary evil of sandow/paulo can surely eat there own words!

sandow and norman played great!!

no more sandow super sub - no more seffa plays a great role - you were shown yesterday that he stifles attack - for once we had a whole half of perfect footy!!!!!!!

had arthur not handicapped the team by not rotating his bench then im sure we would of had a win!

Seffa is not needed at this club - how obvious does it need to be made before you work it out for yourself, signing him for an additional two years is another ridiculously bad decision made by this club!

  • Well, considering you watched the game quite closely, I am quite sure you would have noticed gower and junior playing that link role. So it isn't a myth.

    • they in no way played anything like the link role we have employed under BA

  • We haven't won a game without Sef Paulo since 2012.

    • lol thanks for pointing out that stat ham!

    • Did he play against penrith last week?  I dont recall.

    • And we've lost a shit load with him in the side.

  • I agree 100% and have also said that for years.
However in saying that if BA has no confidence in his bench then perhaps he needs to put guys there that he has confidence in like Seffa.
At least the forwards would've got a break yesterday had Seffa been selected.
As bad as Seffa is he is better than playing 15 vs 17.
    • why select them if you wont throw them on though frank - arthurs rotation strategy is madness

  • Yep, came off the bench and played about 30 minutes.

    • that was another wasted rotation - second half from memory ham i thought it was only 20 mins
