  • Last time I watched a game of league there were only 13 players on the field. Not sure it's legal to have three backrowers and a lock. Maybe in rugby union. As for Casey McGuire, he hasn't played halfback for 5 years. He has been playing hooker for Les Catalans. If he is the one to lead our team around next year we are in a worse position than I thought.
  • putting it on paper just emphasises our weakness in the halves
  • Good team PP
3 backrowers in run on side PLUS a lock, 2 props and a hooker.
If that doesn't give us some sort of advantage in the forwards then nothing will.
Webb is a Wenty player so you just lost a prop
What has Manukafoa done? I have not heard one word about him after week 1 when he joined us.
Morts to Wenty until he can show some form and Humble to 5/8.
Mitchell is a strike weapon and should be 14. Allow Robbo or MK to start @ 9 and do the hard yards to tire the forwards.
Tahu is certainly doing his bit to secure a contract but what happens if he doesn't get one?
Matua is not available until round 11 I believe so if we see him on the paddock in 1st grade before round 13 or 14 I would be very surprised.

Sinbad - I know Murray has very big raps on him but is he "really" ready for 1st Grade?
I know very little about him except he is only 19 y o. - hence the question
  • We still need a tall ....go forward prop..who?..I like the look of Manukafoa...he has played well with Wenty....
  • Yeah Parra Mafia i had no idea
Look im not good at choosing spots, all i am is a fan of the club ever since i can remember
My dad worked at parra stadium for a long time and he'd get me out of school just to go and see the game.
I'd also get free food and drinks from him.
I'd sit on the hill though, which now has seats there.
    I was in primary school
    this was back in 2000-2004
  • how good is mcguire? has he had any 1st grade experience? or are we hoping he turns out good
  • what about Benny you clown
  • my goodness - have we really signed mcguire - he's been there and done that sorry been there and not quite done that. He was a good back up in a broncos team full of stars but we need a star in the halves.
  • Barba at FB Joe.
Do you reckon he has the defence to handle it?
Won't question his attack capabilities from FB tho.
  • I think Reddy has offered more in defence than Tahu this year. His missed tackles counts are high. I hope Tahu comes good but I hear he may not be staying and is looking to relocate to Newcastle.

"Randy,  An interesting one.
I suppose coaches trust certain players or believe they're the best fit for the team, even if club form or a high minute count aren't there.
I'd choose you for x-factor even if you only had 5 minutes of form."
