Will Lane be allowed to continue playing while the NRL integrity unit and the Eels club look into this media speculation? Hope he can and I hope this doesn't affect the team and particularly Lane as hes been a great buy for the Eels. There should be a law stopping this leaks coming out into the open as the should be dealt with quietly.

Yes he will.
A law against free speech ?
That’ll do me
So I suppose you find nothing wrong with what the bloke wrote to Latrell Mitchell?
He isn’t taking about a law against freedom of speech. There are already laws against the dissemination of certain information received electronically. It is conceivable that a law against the release of this type of message could exist in the future
Will be wrapped up before the weeks end. There's no reason to let it drag on
Danny Weidler made an interesting point om triple m today.
Had the photo been taken after the Dylan Napa story broke, Lane would be in a lot of trouble as from what I understood players were told that if images like this leaked the players will be held accountable for taking the images.
But as the photo was taken before the new policy was introduced even though the leak happened after it will be punished under the old rules which should be a fine only.
That's the only thing that's going to save Lane If it happened after the new policy took place, he'd be suspended for a month
He will be allowed to play & should only get a fine. Lets face it, It was a joke & the only thing in that bag was baby powder in my opinion which Lane should agree with. Not a good look but not illegal.
Lol baby powder
More likely icing sugar. Sweeter.
