Yes i thought the same; its hardly a trophy / shield. Even Sterlo would monster that board....the markings look good; it is a bit of a let down if that is the 'shield'.
Was that made by the kids at the local special school ? Play your arse off and go home with a bit of firewood carved by some drunk indigenous guy by the looks of it .
It’s like they made up this trophy to give some aboriginal wood carver a job to get him off the dole . We have two non indigenous fellas who they’re celebratig due to their time in the UK , and they make a trophy that looks like it should be hanging somewhere in a deserted drug den at The Block in Redfern. It’s a PC turd that’s what this trophy is . It has zero relevance to either player . Let’s flip it and say we had a game dedicated to Inglis and Thurston and they made a trophy that resembled captain Cooks boat . Would that be relevant and acceptable ? I mean shit , couldn’t they have made the trophy somewhat relevant to the two players , or does everything now have to have some kind of political correct statement about it ?
Is that Sterlos knob half covered by his foreskin above the Goanna ?
"Interesting that it has now been confirmed as i suggested at the start. That the mediation process between the Eels and the Storm/Lomax had the NRL smack in the middle of it.
There are kick backs coming left right and centre, love this if it finally…"
"Eels HM and SG ball continue the winning my ways with both teams starting the season 3-0. HM won 22-8 whilst the SG ball team won 54-12.
The SG ball team were up 30-12 at HT. And I can have not seen a worse team performance in one half for a team…"
"One thing is for certain and that is Arthur Moses at the forefront of this. He would not be persuing this to the fullest without having everything in place for an Eels win, this bloke by all accounts is at the top of his game.

"Phone calls are harder as you can't prove what was said unless it was tapped. Emails and the rest yeah. Parra had this in their back pocket for a while and were waiting for the final nail to drop and them threatening us with cap penalties was the…"

The irony that two winners are honoured with a sheild modeled on the one the losers used .

It literally is a shield though...

The Abalone shell really tops it off, at least theres a snake on it.
I wasnt aware that Brett or Sterlo were Aboriginal?
