Alright eel fuggers, NRL.com is having a vote on who the Greatest kicker of all time is.
How about we all get on there and only vote for Mick Cronin.

Sorry mate, Cronin was a bum kicker in comparison to todays standards, hes the worst of the group.

First found the corner kicker from memory was John Gray .in my humble opinion El Masri was pretty darn good . Was he the best .pretty close I recon
You can't do anymore than be the best of your particular era. Mick Cronin held every goal kicking and point scoring record in the game. You can't do better than be the very best. It was Cronin's goal kicking that got us into Grand Finals. It's the ones you kicked to get us there that count the most. We wouldn't have been there in the 80's without him. Cronin kicked leather balls from sand mounds unlike Johns, El Masri and Thurston who all used synthetic balls kicked from plastic golf tees. Give leather balls to the ones who came after Cronin and see how they go. They would cry.
Different era! I'd like to see some of these modern day goal kickers use a leather ball with no kicking tee! Their results would be low.
