THE GOOSE HAS LANDED

Based on several blogs it appears that Steven Kearney HAS in fact signed as the new coach for The Mighty Parramatta EELS.

I have been VERY public in my derision of the rumours that he would sign and as there will no doubt be many blogs on Kearney's signing I have decided to take the lazy approach and set up a blog which will allow all members of the 1 Eyed Eel forum to extract their revenge on my past comments.

I have NEVER opposed Kearney's signing and in fact am very pleased about it  - IF HE IS ALLOWED TO BE THE COACH AND NOT HAVE TO SUFFER THE INTERFERENCE THAT DA OBVIOUSLY HAD TO CONTEND WITH.

So - go for it boys and girls- - dish it out to me any way you see fit.

I dished it out and now it my turn to cop it sweet.

Ps. All my comments in the past were based on what I believed to be "the good oil".

  • That looks VERY tasty ToMmYbOy - - can I have sauce with that please?
  • Funny that you should say that PA

Up in the the backwoods of queer Z land there has NOT been one whisper of Kearney actually signing yet.

On reflection I would rather be wrong with my previous posts but I am beginning to wonder if we do have his signature.

Wouldn't Parra have been jumping up and down all through the media by now?

    I'm confused now

"Randy,  An interesting one.
I suppose coaches trust certain players or believe they're the best fit for the team, even if club form or a high minute count aren't there.
I'd choose you for x-factor even if you only had 5 minutes of form."

"Hoe, I dislike the idea that a player can be selected for Aust with only 480 club minutes on show...and not all of them good. How can he have form without playing?
Perhaps a rule that said 10 nrl games to be eligible for Aust would help everyone"
