Would anyone be interested to see a club by club breakdown of their top 30 players and coach to see who holds the power at that club?

For my own interest I've started researching which players and coaches are managed by which player managers.

Its interesting to see which clubs are represented by which managers

Famously the Broncos were being held to ransom by one player manager during Siebold tenure

Or is this my personal interest? Happy to do the work and share if you'd find it interesting

Thoughts?

    • It's quite interesting to look at the biggest player managers and see where their clients are playing - Parra are interesting and I'll get to Parra down the track

it may point to an interesting strategy from Parra in relation to securing players...

  • Yes pls

  • Player managers holding significant leverage is nothing new in pro sports, they always have since the days of clubs holding the reserve clause.

I've always said, it's better to work with managers instead of at cross purposes with them. Players employ them because they trust their judgement, so you're never going to seperate them unless you can show a manager working directly opposed to a players best interests.

  • Yeah do it, very interesting!
