The forgotten threat?

Correct me if I'm wrong and apologies if this has been discussed, but didnt Greenburg threaten the bulldogs with loss of competition points if the feral faction of their fans didnt pull their heads in? We saw a few weeks ago one of their idiot fans throw a bottle at an official or the opposition bench, cant remember where it was thrown? What happened to his warning? Not much was saiid about it and i think they identified him or her as a dogs fan? Please explain Mr Greenburg if i have my facts right.

  • Greenberg will make sure we miss the finals this year.

He`s new in the seat and he will want to show everyone he can make the hard decisions, even if the decision is to screw the Eels.

The more I think about it the more I believe Greenberg will rub us out this year.

    • Depends on whether he thinks rubbing us out will give the game too big a black eye i reckon. I really hav no idea what will happen. I just wish i didn't care.

    • Financially though the NRL need us to be competitive this year.

Unfortunately this may just be a factor in delaying the announcement rather than the final decision.

    • We have had shite seasons (bar the 2001 season and back end of 2009) and the year we finally have a team that can challenge for the title we get cut down because of some shit that went down when we won consecutive wooden spoons... I'd be fucking livid if that happens...I will walk out on the game... And watch soccer and union...
  • No sanction was made against the club so there was no threat of fine, loss of points or otherwise last year.

    • Thanks for clearing that up FF. I would hate to think  that  there are any double standards within the NRL. Lol!

    • I don't want the dogs to lose points for their fans stupidity. Equally I don't think we should be punished for the stupidity of a few
  • 2005 was pretty good until they GF qualifier

And sorry but the "Parra were shit when they cheated so it should count" argument is just moronic

While I don't agree that what happened in and around 2014 had zero effect on the 2016 roster I can at least see the merit in the argument if it can be proven that it had no effect but just because the Eels can't even cheat effectively is no excuse
    • Another ray of sunshine from Dave. What team do you support Dave? Nothing but negatives and club put downs in every post you make.

      • I support Parramatta, I just don't support morons obviously you do

Plus it frees up some spots like we all know who 5/8 will be but now no idea."
