With the spot light and all the commentary about JA's performance & inclusion, big shout out to young Hayze. Well played young fella.
Solid, mistake free game in an unfamiliar & demanding position. Half and fullback is his best /preferred position.
Correct me if I am wrong, but i believe he has played in every position in the backline in 2022 (NSW Cup included) now that he has played on the wing in first grade.
A debate for another day, but he would be the perfect utility when all of the troops come back from injury, but I think it is pie in the sky thinking with the "Handbrake" a lock until 2024 in the side.

Seems like a natural first grader, it'd be good to see more of him. The knights were pretty bad though, need some decent competition to test him out
Agreed, had a solid game.
On an unrelated tangent can any of the regular reserves watchers shed any light on the winger that has risen through the ranks due to injury and scored 10 tries in 4 games? (Double, double, triple, triple in first 4 games in Nsw cup!) Seems to be scoring tries for fun. Komolafe I think his name is. Prospect or had a lucky run?
Buy him early before another club sign him. He could him smart His Nigerian father is a Uni lecturer More colour from our site..From a small winger he was mixed up with the bigger ones in the middle. Love him
Went great. Solid.
Definitely a keeper Bert
I'm glad to see Perham getting more opportunities. I feel like he can offer more than JA in the halves as back-up 5/8th..
I'll add Simmonsen to the forgotten list. I like what he is adding to the team. Safe and effective.
Simonssen has really turned up the last few weeks. Running hard as hell on kick returns, and really threatening to burn on the edges. His shutdown defence is great, cause he's so fast off the line he actually manages more often than not to get to the player before they get a good pass off. Different to Fergo where he would do the same thing but with less speed, which makes all the difference.
First few weeks I wasn't impressed but you've nailed it, safe and effective.
Good call Bert, I have been watching the NSW cup games when possible. Perham looks the goods as a footballer and has great utility value. He was very solid on the wing for us on the weekend.
Hopefully he stays on the wing over WAQA. It's nice not having to worry everytime WAQA has to catch a ball, play the ball etc etc
