The fine line - line speed or offside?

A Rugby league problem that just can't be fixed. The referees do not realise the defence line can't take off until the ball is played.

Sharks were taking off just before the ball left the players hands playing the ball. I don't get to a lot of games because of where I live, so it's hard to see line speed and offsides with the tv camera angles. But tonight's game I could even see this on tv. Terrible look for our game.

LB replied to SuperEel 22's discussion CONFIRMED: Storm asked NRL to bully Eels into Lomax deal
"Cause they have been answered to for a while. Now the general NRL public are asking "how long this been the case?"
Again, the NRL treat fans as stupid, we are very smart and can read the room and know when dodginess is happening.
Vast majority know…"
