I thought it was about time to start a blog about all the excuses for why we are 2 from 9
We all know it's not the coaches or clubs fault because they never make any mistakes at all and are off limits.
Feel free to add anymore i have missed.
Too hot - we can't play in the heat because our pack is too small and isn't suited by the hot weather.
Too cold - we can't play in the cold because our pack is too small and isn't suited by the cold weather.
The Dew - It's too slippery for our players out there even though the other teams have too play on the same surface.
The referees - Every week the referee's conspire to fuck us over because they hate us.
Todd Greenburg and the NRL - They absolutely hate our club and it's a conspiracy by the NRL to keep us down.
The cap breaches - Happened 2 seasons ago and has crippled us, our cap is fucked and now we can't sign any players. Even though the coach was happy with the squad and we still have money to spend.
Having a rookie coach - BA is just a rookie coach and just in his 5th year, it's not his fault he will learn
from it if we stick with him and give him another 5 seasons.
Player managers - They hate our club and are conspiring to bring us down.
The New Jersey - It's a POS, nuff said.
We should update this blog as we go along i am sure there are plenty more excuses from the unicorn brigade we can add.

Mate both of those excuses make you an absolute unicorn. Mack are you 12 years old mate.
Tpa's are not the reason why ba is 2 from 9. It's a failure to recognize that we can't match teams through the middle due to lack of size - that wasn't recognized and resolved through quality recruitment.
We have old forwards eating into too much cap space, hence our inability to recruit more suitable players.
Vave, Gower,Scott , Matagi , Williams Timmy are all on their career downslope, and there's nobody being promoted.
I think it's a factor of a lot of those things, but we were tipped as a top 4 side by all and sundry.
The fact is the coach was happy with the squad, he is the one who as happy to go into the season about 500k under the cap so why are TPA's are now a problem to put together a competitive squad????
Going in with one trial, no defence coach, getting some AFL Nuffie who has turned the players into AFL players and no head of football are all factors IMO. But they were all things the coach and the club could control. They can be used as reasons but not excuses.

Bloody yes, my unicorn has become lame so its the farriers fault our team is shity!
As our season slips from our grasp??? Our season is DOA Mack.
The questions that needs to be asked can you see us winning a comp with BA???
Is he capable of putting a winning squad together??? Is he capable of coaching a style of footy that wins titles???
If the answer to any of these questions is no then we need to be looking for someone that can take the club to that title. Has anything you have seen this year given you the confidence that BA can do any of these things that i have asked???? i mean he is still making basic mistakes with the interchange let alone coaching a style of football that can win us a GF.
All fair responses Mack, i am one of the ones on here who think that BA hasn't been given all the resources that he needs. Some people think he is too stubborn and hasn't asked for help.
It is interesting that we do hire a defence coach after some questioning off the resources for BA.
BA has done a lot of good things for the club, but i just don't see him taking us to the next level. I just think why waste more years with a bloke who can't take us all the way and chase someone who can.
This is not an excuse but a dig at the Houllier than thou fans we have on here.
How about when we lose weekly, we get the guys/gals with a full on hectic life, come on here and accuse others of having no life for expressing their frustration at supporting a perennially shit team and actually expecting results for a change? Must be hectic......
We all have lives, but Parra and them winning is more important to some than others quite obviously. There’s nothing wrong with venting and criticism of the team or even demanding better.
Now let me get back to the BBQ.
