In great news for the Pirtek Parramatta Eels Harold Matthews Cup side, the National Titles played this Sunday, May 12 will be broadcast on Fox Sports.
The premiership-winning Eels will take on Queensland champions Norths Devils at 11.30am at North Sydney Oval, with the match to be broadcast on Fox Sports on Wednesday, May 22 at 4pm.
The following Under 18s match between the Balmain Tigers and Redvliffe Dolphins will be played at 1.15pm and will be broadcast on Friday, May 24 at 3.30pm.
Adding to this announcement is a live call of the match on NSWRL accredited radio station HHH FM in Sydney. The station will call the triple header of the two National Title matches and the VB NSW Cup match between the North Sydney Bears and Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles.
“The elite Junior Development system that Rugby League has had for decades is the envy of organisations across the sporting landscape,” NSWRL General Manager, Geoff Carr said.
“Players can be in a development pathway from and early age, particularly in New South Wales, and play with the same club all the way throughout their career in .
“It is a real positive we have been able to reach this deal at the last minute because the standard of these matches is of the highest quality.
“I would like to thank the QRL, Fox Sports, Power Productions and HHH FM for sharing the same vision as we do about the importance of these matches.”
