  no big loss, as its his loss after so many yrs battle it out , now as the eels on the high is stopping sponsorship , i find that a silly move but i guess he knows what he is doing being so successful

  From what I've been told, the issue is not so much that we lost the sponsorship but why we lost it - it seems we did a very poor job of making the sponsors feel valued around the grand final time, which is a major concern

    I should have explained more to the story .Parra at finals time didn't give out tickets to some major sponser and the Monday after the finals all the sponsers had a meeting with Steve Edge and basically gave it to him about the treatment of no tickets.So parklea pulled out and also some smaller sponsers did aswell.This is a major concern about the future for Parra.

  Whilst it is a concern to hear about the way the club treated the sponsors, I'd expect that the new board is intelligent enough to have learnt from the experience and will ensure that this does not happen again next year.

  Interesting mr edge & the new Pnrl board has invited Parra fans "to meet the players"...............at $125 per head.....hope it's a good feed........

  sounds worrying!!! that's what I call "BAD PARRAMATITUDE" from our club. remember people/other sponsors REMEMBER things like this. Hope they wake up to themselves after this!!!!!!!!

  its their loss not the eels ,many r lining up now to sponser team,club and players. to such a degree i believe eels management can pick and choose whats best for the club
