Imo, we have one of the toughest remaining draws.
And we're not the most mentally toughest or most switched on atm - showing our usual soft underbelly.
The 2nd half of 2021 will be a Great Test.
And the 2nd half of 2020 wasn't long ago.
We won't win a thing with soft forwards like Lane and Matto in our team. In fact our whole side lacks the mongrel necessary to go all the way. Yesterdays game highlighted the lack of intensity in the team.
Those final rounds will determine whether BA sees out his contract or gets tapped on the shoulder.
Based on last week and yesterdays performance im concerned about our round 17 game, vs the Bye. Dont know if the boys can defend against the bye, could get messy. 😢
We will struggle to make the 8 looking at that unless origin changes things with injuries and suspension
If we can't find a way to beat Roosters, Manly, Souths, Storm or Penrith right before finals then we may as well pack our bags because we're just filling the numbers anyway.
Long way to go before we get there though.
We have 3 very winable games coming up in the knights, tigers and bull dogs before we play Penrith and the bye.
If we can't win at least the first 3 games and a depleted panthers side due to origin we are kidding ourselves if we think we are contenders
