The defining moment to our future starts now....

Been a long time since I have logged on and made a post but why not i say.

Without a doubt I cannot give the boys enough praise for the efforts we have shown through all the turmoil from media, salary cap, injuries etc.

We have showed some seriously good attitude.

However,

It is easy to muster up the motivation when there is a finals hope birth, but I think that the true test of character for us is going to be our attitude for the rest of the season.

We have nothing to play for anymore some will say?? I don't believe that. I still believe we have allot to play for, we have pride and reputation that we have built to uphold.

We need to show them that we are still the gritty tough team we have been all season no matter what.

For me the attitude for the remainder of the season when we have nothing to play for will show just how much this team has changed. Parra need to bring the same attitude they have had all season.

Our future starts now, time to show we are no longer the parra of old, we are a mean, tough team that never gives in.

I am so proud of the boys efforts this year and cannot wait to see what 2017 brings.

Lets finish this season showing everyone that parra, is a team that has a never die atttitude!!

Go Parra!!

  • Yeah cant wait for next season !!!!! I wonder what joys 2017 will bring eels supporters.

Rugby League has now lost its mind

  • Who is our 6 and 7 next year?
    • Norman will be here.

      2 options I think.

Hayne to 6 Norman to 7/

or keep Jeff Robson and have it Robson 7 Norman 6.

Either way BA will sort us out.

I even like the thought of Norman and Gutho in the halves

    • I think Robbo's a backup for next year. At his age you would not want to rely on him being fit for 26 rounds. Would love to see Hayne at 6 otherwise it's Gutho. It would be a steep learning curve for Gutho and Norman is going to have to pull his socks up.
  • The players seem to be working on muscle memory. The effort is there but they are just lacking that edge that made them a lot hungrier. I'd be shocked if we win another game.
  • Parramatters, it seems not all picked up in the real point you're making. With which I agree. How we play over this next 7 weeks will have a bearing on 2017. If we drop our bundled and concede 30-40 a game, that could easily breed bad habits and a bad mindset. We are seriously injury, suspension and quitting depleted, but turning up to play with good attitude is something that will help in 2017. Phoning it in from now, while understandable, would probably undo the work BA has done to strengthen our mental application. So, yes, the future starts now.

"I got excited thinking maybe a Winger, but seems he is a middle forward. We have plenty of them coming through with Talagi, Koina and Popo.
Hopefully he can be an edge where we have Funa-Iuta and Petrus as the only really great prospects in junior…"
