Looking at the ladder, our draw and taking into account our remaining byes - we are looking quite good at the moment. It may not feel like it but we are:
1st in attack
2nd in points differential
7tj in defence
When looking at this in reference to our early draw where we lost no game by more than 4 points those statistics read like a team which made the gf last year. I personally would portend that we are looking like we have more depth this year than last.
to cap it off - Sportsbet has eels at $18 to win the premiership - dark horses get on it!

Agree, this was a very important win today and sets us up nicely.
I agree. I thought that we started the year way better than last year. Even when we lost those early games there were positive signs with our attacking and defensive structures. Teams aren't going around us anymore and we look very good in attack.
As I posted a week ago, the 2024 Eels are a better team than the 2023 Eels. Players we had have improved and there's a healthy injection of new blood. To top it all, Gutho is in career best form. He's involved in everything good. Hopefully Mitch has a blinder and we beat the canetoads on Wednesday. That'll improve his confidence five-fold.
Jesus, the 2024 Eels? Have you time traveled? Can you give the me the Powerball numbers for this week?
But seriously, we seem to be a lot more consistent than last season.
I think he's right though, this team still looks like it's on an upward trajectory, so I fully expect the 24 Eels to be better than the 23 version
Sorry mate. It's what happens sometimes on your 3rd rum and coke :)
Anyway, the 2024 Eels will be a better team than the 2023 Eels Premiers.
You need to give up the Coke
I'm a bit concerned that you are using the Lord's name in vain Super.
We do not want anything to upset the Karma that has finally come our way.....arrogant pricks aside of course! lol
