"Agreed. I won't renew him no matter how well he plays. He was still sketchy yesterday. He is a good impact bench player against tired edges and Moses slipping him balls. "
"Hmmm. The only in would be Moretti for me. Maybe. I'd let him maybe have more time in reggies first. I'd keep Guymer.
So basically, same team. Yes even De Belin. I want De Belin to be in the team first few rounds then things will change IMO. Him…"

"The only change we need to make is Hopgood back to 13 and JDB to 18 man. Not sure why he needs a spot in the squad as he is only practically here for 1 year and really provides nothing more than what Hopgood or Doorey can do for 25min. Walker has…"
"Brisbane's play the ball speed was quicker, but later on we got control of the ruck, poking our nose through and getting on our elbows for quick play the balls, Brisbane were out on their feet. Tawha was having a tough time keeping up and Mam…"

I think I enjoyed the win against Brisbane in Brisbane the most, early in the year.
The eels intensity was incredible for the entire 80 mins and I knew we were in much better shape than the past few years right there.
I may actually watch that game again today.
The win vs Rorters was good too.
Sorry sixties I thought I would put a couple of positives in ya blog!
OH yeah...that Roosters win.
Us wooden spooners, being thrashed by the premiers a few short weeks before.
What an amazing turn around
Best wow moment for sure and full credit to our new coach waaaay back then!
The win against the Feather Dusters occured on my birthday. One of the best birthday pressies I got that day (besides the 'present' my girlfriend gave to me that night :) )
DCE lying down
plus is getting done for not playing ball facing right way- manly score
two tackles later.
then manly score two tries in the sets where they played the ball sideways themselves
Just some days we rise above it and stick it to the man.
And some we don't.
This blog is %100 spot on. It's just a pity fans of other teams dont buy it because they just focus on the bad luck stories with their team. As youve pointed out, it is such a fine line to being a finals team in a great position and a team battling to make the finals. Unfortunately everyone just looks at where you finish at the end of 26 rounds and judges you from that. It's been a great turn around this year considering the hard luck events of the year.
Makes you wonder where we would have finished on the ladder had we not had Peats out for most of the season.
4th. I seriously believe that we would've made it to 4th or 5th
