The club and its poor use of this site

Looking at all the banter from other clubs signing or proposed signing news it is as though Parramatta are not in the new player market. Almost everyone on this site are wondering what the club are doing when  other clubs are announcing player transferrs to their clubs.

Maybe the player transferrs to parramatta are secret. The issue is. As a player I want to know the potential improvements to my roster. Last year was ok as a player - team and now with the players that have just left the club what does the team look like for neaxt season. As a player are we offencivly/defencivly better?. This matters a lot to the player.

So why does the club give the impression to this site/ players that they are not in the market. It is news for sure. Player sighing news is motivation, good or bad , and it does ,very much , add to the moral of the team and players willingness to stay or leave.

  • Hmmm 🤔?

  • Yes they definitely should be keeping us entertained by spreading a new signing rumour every day FFS!

  • What the actual fuck!?!

The club has ZERO responsibility to give this site anything. It is not affiliated with the club.

Is your reasoning just because Phil is on the board?

  •  No the less said the better the media will do their thing and link and spread rumours that managers want them to do.

The club can do their deals quietly

  • Don, clubs like to distance themselves from any forums.

This forum has no links to the club, no footy forums do, and thats a good thing.

Because if the clubs were invloved you can be sure that the forums would be over moderated to cater for them, everybody would be walking on egg shells and no criticism of the club would be allowed.

We cant even use the club logo in any official capacity here.

If it was possible to do, the clubs would all have their own forums on their home pages, but sports clubs learned that its just a huge hassle for them.

Our club cant even run a FB page properly without our female staff running it, chimping out over the terrible treatment of Jake, BA and the team and removed any criticism of them for a few days..

She then went on to tell life long fans to get over a loss and told them how to support the club, when shes a fekking blow in getting paid for her faux support.

    • Just like TCT..... censorship to keep on the right side of BA, club and players...

    • I'm still waiting on our clubs website Forum to come back, it went down for maintience one evening and never returned. Must have some real big things coming as it's taken over a decade.

  • I imagine they keep the players apprised of playervvomings and goings

  • The thing is , many players would not like to have their talks with rival clubs disclosed for various reasons. If it falls through it may jeppordise their current or other potential clubs stance on their agreements. Plus it looks bad on the club when they miss out on players. Example - Dolphins.

Im happpy to find out we've signed players when the inks dry , My issue is , we don't seem to own a pen.

  • We are hamstrung untill Mitch and Dylan receive their offers from other clubs, and we work out what its going to take to re sign them as a priority. The other players / siginings will flow from whats left. Its obvious we are signing up and comers on value for dollar, at thebmoment keeping our powder dry to resign our halves.
