It comes as no surprise (again) that Greg Alexander is not tipping the Eels to be anything special this year. He has us coming in at 5. Two things are surprising. Firstly, he hasn't tipped us for the spoon. This must be the first time in 10 years or more that he's tipped us to finish above last.
The second surprising thing is that he's tipping the Panthers to finish above us, in the top 4.

Yeah he's been carrying on for weeks now that the Panthers are 'specials' to make the semis. I like Brandy but I reckon he's going to be disappointed again this year. The Panthers won't make the 8.

The panthers rely too much on their inconsistent big Fella Frank Pritchard and now they have Daine Laurie as well. Their season will also depend on Petero but I hate to say it from a QLD point of view, is probably not the player he was!

A washed up has been that is clinging onto other former players and standing in their spotlight.
