The Captaincy Question

I'm devastated about Hayne's departure. Once in a generation player. So here's an opportunity for a new leader to step forward. Is Peats the man to step up? We need an 80 minute player. Many here questioned Hayne's captaincy so it seems like the chance to validate the theory of needing a new captain has now presented itself!

  • People may not agree but id say gower would be an amazong captain. However he is gtting
On so domt thin hell get it

  • I'm thinking mannah and peats, watmough could be an option but it's unlikely he will play 80 minutes

  • I think it affords the opportunity for us to use captaincy as another lure for a marquee player.

    • Nice idea.
  • I think that the captaincy will be a big issue. Perhaps there can be a positive in it.
    • What will happen with Hayne's big portrait in the feature wall in the club? It's only just been finished!
  • Get over it.

  • Peats.

    Isn't that obvious?

Sheesh there is some dribble on here of late!

  • Maybe Mannah to back him up lol?

  • I look forward to having Timmy as our stand-alone captain.

    Tim:  That penalty was harsh.

Ref: Are you questioning me, Timmy?

Tim:  Sorry Father, I mean Sir, I mean........Bless you.

Yobz replied to Yobz's discussion 2026 Disrupter Rule - Why wasn't this a penalty to the Eels?
"If the purpose of the rule is to not have "one hand interfering with the opposition player", it should be worded as such."

SuperEel 22 replied to Yobz's discussion 2026 Disrupter Rule - Why wasn't this a penalty to the Eels?
"1. The rule is dumb and incredibly vague.
2. It's a coin toss decision
3. According to The Bunker in this game, basically making it look like you're going to go with 2 hands is good enough.
Can't wait for this stupid rule to ruin a rep/finals game."
