I seriously believe that BA should consider giving the captaincy to Nathan Brown as a dual with Gutherson. IMO Nathan Brown is our Sam burgess. the bloke puts his body on the line and leads by example. With mannah gone i believe Brown would be a perfect leader in the forward pack and believe he would step up another gear and embrace the captaincy if given the opportunity. I just dont think Gutho has got all the qualities to become a good leader and TBH neither does brown but between the two if them i think there is enough there to forge a strong leadership combo.

You don't demote your captain for no good reason after he's just signed a new contact.
Brown should be made vice captain with Mitch Moses.
thats what im saying make him vice captain or have two captains. its a no from me for mitch moses dont think he has any leadership qualities
They are our 3 best players. Maybe rocks and diamonds from Moses a lot of the time but he's the only creative player we have. Stats don't lie.
I bet once Dylan Brown returns, we'll see a better Moses to share play-making responsibilities.
The issue is, due to Dylan's absence, Moses has to do everythig by himself even if he's having a shitter. If you have a good partner, they can take more responsibility for that particular game and you can try to help the team with other stuff (running the ball, defence etc). Neither Salmon or Smith have helped Moses because they are not NRL standard players that can lead.
Parra fan on the hill, i have heard ths excuse many times and i just dont get it. isnt this exactly what moses wanted. to be able to take full control of the team? he has that now and is very hot and cold. if he could just accept that he is not capable enough to direct the team around the park, i would be more than happy to keep him and watch brown control the team while moses uses his running game. but by wanting to control the team, which he has been given the opportunity to do and fail imo, it is clear he is not a dominant half and needs to accept that he should be playing second fiddle to brown (dylan brown that is)
Yes. That is true. It's what Moses wanted but a player with a half a brain would give more responsibility in a particular game if it wasn't happening for him.
Moses' downfall is his kicking game. I'm sure if he would leave more of the kicking duties to Dylan.
IMO Moses with Sean Johnson are the best running halves in the game. I'd rather see Moses run the ball on the 4th and leave Dylan to kick on the 5th. Moses is much more damaging running the ball and he's not running enough because he's the only one that can kick on the last tackle.
I more or less agree with you summary.
exactly i agree 100% which is why i believe moses should just accept that he is not a dominant half. in fact if he had this attitude i dare say he and norman would still be our halves whether this is good or not idk. the thing that annoys me most is i was one of those people who thought norman was the problem but after seeing him perform so well at the dragons with hunt, im begining to think otherwise. Just disappointed cause i know moses has his strengths particularly his running, but he seems to think his strengths are running the team and kicking which are both absolute dogshit and really letting the team down at the moment. so as you state when brown comes back i hope the more of the kicking and organising is done by him so moses can play to his strengths. whether moses can handover the dominant play maker role to brown is another story
I'm with you. Moses is showing that he can't control the tempo of a game, nor guide the team out of trouble with his kicks.
I've noticed several times this year Parra having defended 2-3 sets on our line, the forwards are out of breath and instead of a touch finder (even if it's on the half way line) to give them 30 secs to get their breath back he put's up a useless midfield bomb which lands on the opposition 40 metre mark and it's back to square one.
The other issue with Moses is that he's still try to score with every play inside the 20 instead of working the team around the field to get in the right position to score.
It wouldn't hurt, at least club captain. But I would reall love to see Dylan Brown captain this side in the future. I don't mean in the next 2-3yrs but in the future.
Gutherson should not be captain. His antics during the contract negotiations have been the worst I've seen from any player in history
I think Daly Cherry-Evans signing with the Titans, meaning they released Aiden Sezer, only for DCE to renege for more money at Manly is worse. And that was after he threatened not to play/train because he wanted more money.
