All our problems flow from lack of a dominant forward pack. We have some very good forwards, including Mannah; however when we are overpowered we get the ref calls against us, our smaller pack punches above their weight and we get a high rate of injury, our backs struggle with lack of space to work.
If we had a Fafita, or Boyd, or Juniour Paulo or two to bend and break the opposition line we would be looking great.
The fact that we have not rectified this with recruiting - even if we have to pay overs, is a mistake.
In the short term Vave must play and/or we must turn Trex into a middle forward and get his motor back. There is no sign yet that Evans is helping our pack at all.

T-Rex, Vave and Terepo will help our go forward and there is a good chance all 3 will be in the team next week.
Yes just saw your post
I agree with you. What about Nuikore?
We did recruit x2 big bodies - in T-Rex and Kane Evans (Kane Evans unfortunately, feels like the second-coming of Rory O’Brien; I’m sure he’s a nice bloke though). Hopefully, T-Rex will get an opportunity and rediscover some form of years past.
Our attack was So poor tonight - even if we had 95% of the ball we wouldn't have scored.
We have a talented backline
Give them room and they will do the rest
Why was he always going to North Queensland? Isn’t he a nsw boy?
Only forwards can give them room. We have none.
We’ve had the same coach in his 5th year. We should have developed our own big props by now.
Agree with this Wile E. It’s very hard for the backs to create anything if the opposition isn’t backpedaling. Our play the balls are slow because we’re not bending the line. Cronulla lay all over us and got away with it but we don’t have that drive in the forwards so they were able to get 3 in a tackle every time
