Yep, for all of those who said he wasn't ready. Eat your heart out.
"Too small" - uses his strength to hold up a far bigger player and WIN us the game. WHAT A PLAY! Who honestly thought when it went upstairs that the Knights hadn't scored? No-one. Unbelievable piece of defence. His speed was on show, to chase down the Knights centre in the first half, and beating them to each and every kick that came his way. Even out of position on the wing, he got the job done. Took a great cross field kick inside the final 10 under all sorts of pressure.
This kid is a special player, I've said it all along, just give him a chance and he will rise to the next level. Some players just have that "knack" to do so, and Bevan is definitely one of them. Don't think that will "wreck" his development, as so many were scared of if he played too early. It will do just the opposite.
For all the doubters and "he isn't ready" commentators - give me ONE reason he doesn't play again next game, or the week after that. He was flawless tonight and deserves his spot over the other players.

Such a shame that Taka had to move he is perfect partner for him and Bevan would've scored plenty of ball outside him too.
