  Absolutely rediculous. This interfering with the kick chasers particulary on bombs is even worse. We have a situation where the refs are ruling to the absolute letter of the law in one instance and completely disregarding it in another. It's beyond frustrating. Week by week the game I love is being eroded by crazy officiating, I don't blame the refs as much as I do the instructions they receive from higher up in regards to focussing on certain areas of the game while abandoning others.

  Dead set joke, maybe the refs should Incur the penalty everytime a player is found not guilty when they are put on report.
  
  Tough game tonight, full credit to roosters. Glad the Broncos lost. Big injury losses for the roosters though.

  As much as I think it's a joke, am I right to think that contact with the head (accidental as it may be) is an automatic penalty and report?

  PS No doubt he will be found Not Guilty at the judiciary.

    I've got no idea anymore. It changes in the same match, let alone week to week.

  100% correct. We all used to go to a game and know exactly the interpretations of every rule applied. Now it is simply a farce and every decision is a lucky dip. The game is in trouble and needs an enema asap. They won't have the bollocks to bring Quayle and Arthurson in to right the ship but that's what is needed

    Agree.

    The biggest inconsistency for me is what they called "peeling" in defense.

    That was communicated to be a huge target at the start of the year to reduce wrestling. I deadset think that's completely thrown out the window after the first few rounds.

    On top of the crap media deal vs AFL's, I think there might be calls for an early exit from Dave Smith.

  I agree 60s I bought up the blatant shoulder charge against Morgan which nearly knocked him out and produced no penalty last week.... Nothing in the media couldn't even get a rise on this site... Maybe Cos my name isn't snake or Fong ☺️

  Getting a penalty in this instance was insane. Napa stood his ground, pretty front on, and then Boyd fell into him. He'll have no judiciary issues.

  On thing this games always had going for it was that it was a mans game. Really tough. You show clips to people that havnt watched it overseas and they are amazed. What a shame it is being run into the ground. Bigger hits in netball as we turn into the afl.
