The 2 K's (under the radar)

I'd just like to give a special mention to our 2 hookers Kingston and Keating. While everyone is talking about Hayne & Fui and the like,(deservedly so I might add) I am very impressed with the passing game and ball movement of Keating and then the darting running game of Kingston.. They seem to complement each other well. No one is giving them much of a mention(under the radar) but they keep playing mistake free footy without the flare of other team mates and are 2 guys that are helping this team on its winning way..

  • I rate Kinga, and rate when DA brings him on. His speed and vision is perfect for the way our team runs!
    • Your comments are on the money Sinbad!!!
    • Totally agree with this.....I been saying all year the reason our forwards get dominated some weeks is Keating service from dummy half. he some times looks lost and gives our forwards slow service. But kudos where they are due in that he has played much better the latter part of the season.....probably due to the pressure from Kingston on the bench.

Kingstons running from dummy half is second to none. He gives us heaps of go forward and speed around the ruck. What I've been liking is when both hookers have been on the field in the second half of games......tandem runs from dummy half.
  • I actually reckon both of them have been getting a bit more plaudits from the commentary team past couple of weeks - and its great to see. What did Rabs say about Kinga when he scored he try. Something like: "And this is the guy people were saying 'Why did they buy him?' (Another Phil Rothfield classic, I think he had Kinga in top 10 flop buys for 2009)
    • yes i remember this when they said he was a flop buy.. i think even i was saying that after first few rounds when he was not even playing 1st grade..

"The chances of him being our 6 next year are very low, if he was a serious consideration he would be playing 6 now with dylan at centre. I'll be very surprised if he is our starting 6 next season unless he gets a lot more time there this season. "
