  • Yes I saw this ,was surprised Hayne got second as there are some well regarded names there, however completely agree with at least the one and two.Hayne and Slater had some great battles and have to say Hayne came out on top on a few occasions, but over their full careers Slater came out the best. That of course was made easier with Hayne throwing his career away and also Slater having only ever played for champion team's and with champion players his whole career.Had Hayne not have played for a woeful Parramatta team and a not much better NSW one, both through very lean years and against probably the best QLD team ever,He may  have faired better

    • Hayne had the ability to be the best player to have ever played the game.

  • Hayne only had a good couple of years. The rest had solid careers, Matt Bowen should be higher. Hayne drop because on consistent form. If he grew up he should be number 1 or 2.  Luke patten should be higher up.

    • Tim Brasher played in this era as well didn't he?

    • Sorry mate I think Jared played over 200 games for Parramatta and I saw everyone of them and I have to say that he was in the best three players on the field every time I saw him play. I vehemently disagree that he only had a couple of good years.

      • 100% agree. Unfortunately, due to Hayne's incredible heights in 2009, he was constantly compared against himself in other seasons. Fans from other teams bagged him later because he wasn't running 90m to score. They failed to notice his deft kicks, passes, line break assists etc. As Joey says, he really was a complete player.

  • Yeah, RTS should be higher, at least top ten.

Matt Bowen was a fine player, but that's too high a rating for mine.

    • The title says century. Not past two decades. Try harder Brettles

  • I would swap number 1 and 2 for starters! Tedesco should be higher. Cant understand why Langlands isnt on the list. Strange list. What about Ken Thornett?

      • So he is saying from the year 2000 onwards? Thats not fair! Langlands and Thornett would give these blokes a run for their money

The board members are though they got each other's backs. Why would they go anywhere even if we aren't winning. There's no penalty for team failure outside of a head coach who doesn't win."
