Pearce and Maloney in halves
Otherwise it's probably best we can do with Bmoz out
We won last year despite Daley and because of a bloke named Jarryd
We need to score 20 points to win. Maloney and Pearce are our best chance to do that
Wheres the team list?
We should have had Richards on the wing, he would have kicked us to victory in the series and he deserves the spot in front of hoppa.

Congratulations to Hoppa on his SOO selection. Personally I'm surprised that he was selected but good luck to him. All the best & hope we get a win.
Im with Snake
Laurie Daley has to be praised for his loyalty but if Hoppa this year has played well enough to be selected in the first state of origin then I'm a Dutchman. One of the two best wingers available for NSW, I don't think so.
I reckon thats the best team possible apart from Hodko the epic dud...i wouldve gone with Bird at 6 if not suspended and Pearce at 7
Hoppa is in as hes a big body and can take a collision, so fair enough, the forwards pretty much pick themselves, i wouldve preferred Frizzle over cordner though, otherwise good balance and mix of toughness, flair, ball playing and hole running in the team.
The biggest question is around both halves if they can service the backs control the forwards and provide a solid kicking game.
Hmm cant help but not get excited about this team but if the aussie v kiwi test was anything to go by (we looked too old and slow) then NSW are certainly a big chance of going back to back.
I'd only make 1 changed and that is Matt Moylan to fullback, he is in superb form and can also kick goals... Dugan just doesn't do it for me
I'm hijacking your thread Alfred and making it our Origin thread
