Hi all long suffering Eels fans.
Did you all hear it? I ceratinaly did. When the Roosters were ahead 24-6 I stuck my head out the window and
listened carefully. You could cleary hear the collective sigh of Eels supporters everywhere saying. "Well there is always next year."
Sure we got the grand final last year, but if memory serves me correct we were lucky to get there in some respects.
The club could sack Brad Arthur but who else is available? It seems to me they need a backs coach. The defensive lapses
in the backline against the Roosters were the stuff of junior football. Particularly from Sivo.
You has to feel for Gutho, who was clearly pissed off.
i tuned out in the 70th minuite, but from what I saw up to then Dylan Brown didn't really stand out in any way.
Which begs the question. "What sort of an impact has Trent Barrett had?
Anybody got ant thoughts on this.
Andrew Johns was the halves coach for a while. What happened with that?

I'm thinking BA should Resign as we always hear him say I LOVE THIS CLUB but he is unable to get the team with the right attitude to play good football it's a 80 Minute sport not 20 Minutes Take a leaf out of Tim Sheens book and walk away
He loves this club but also can get very defensive when something about him is brought up that is negative, he deals with it fine then if happens more he gets flustered and bites back.
He will never resign, I mean nor should he, sign of quitting and it is his job for next two seasons at least so he can do as he pleases.
We over achieved last year but it was nice as we won more than we lost and I could attend a GF with my family. This year is no surprise though we were looking good up until about the origon period. The club needs an overhaul from the top down.
The 2nd half vs dolphins was the start of our downfall..
We massively overachieved last year then got humiliated by a far superior team and coach in the GF.
As much as it pains me to say it, the Panthers deserve to win it this year and make it 3 in a row.
We made the GF last year but to not even make the finals this year shows that BA is just an average coach who can't teach defence and will never be a premiership winner.
The club needs to pay him out and get rid of him now so whoever takes over has a chance to get them up for next year.
Barrett has proven his credentials as our attack coach so maybe he should take over on the proviso that a top quality defence coach is hired as his assistant.
While we are at it, we need a much better reserve grade coach as Cayless is a joke.
