Tge matt lodge signing

If the nrl is serious about launching an investigation in dodgy deals then tge matt lodge signing needs to be investigated and shows how utterly corrupt the system isFor those of you who dont know matt lodge received a 1.6million civil law suit for a claim of damages in new york, so he comes back to the nrl for a life line, and signs with broncos for $85,000 which is bare minimum wage or just avove it, broncos signed him when desperately trying to free up cap space to resign milford and some other key players. So why is this signing so dodgy knights offered him a 3 year deal at 1.6 million enough to pay his civil suit off and start clean but he accepts $85000A host of other blatantly dodgy deals occurred around that time too. James roberts took a reported paycut around 400k per season to play with the broncos in a deal where the broncos released dale copely and signed roberts om cheaper money then him to improve there salary cap position.Tariq sims on 400k per year signed with the broncos at 85k per year a pay cut of 315kBenchy marshall was offered 700k per year by the dragons in a last ditch effort to sign him after offering only 300k which benji just reportly laughed at benji rejected this offer and took a 100k at the broncos to play on the bencha player at the end of his time at the nrl took a 600 k paycut

  • Apologies for the spelling errors etc could see what i had written on the phone after i was finished is there a way to edit it?
  • Opt Eel, i can see your points and have doubts about the cap / TPA etc along with the NRL; do we know if these deals were tabled?as I wouldn’t know.....

  • Wow that’s incredible and in such a small period of time really
  • after the video went to air today from hes usa rage i doubt that he will be playing nrl this year or never.. its shocking, hes need to be put in jail ...ad pay hes debt in the usa. how on earth could the nrl let him play for the bronco's this year...he not only bushed a guy but gave the cops plenty... if it was a parra player the nrl would never let him play in australia again..

  • It's absolutely disgraceful how this lunatic is allowed anywhere near the NRL.

He should be behind bars, he's a maniac and the only way he would ever be allowed back was at a golden child like the cap rorting Broncos.

    • Agree Alan and to make matters worse, mid season we'll get the usual "back from the Brink" or "redemption" piece of BS journalism from either Fox or 9 on one of their top flight programs.

  • This sport is corrupt, it was their to see with the Eels investigation, what's the latest with Manly, Dogs, Raiders, nothing they keep signing players. The main culprit is Greenturd, he decides what to investigate & what not. Apart from TPA, signings, some teams get away with murder, Storm, Roosters are perfect examples of corruption. The judiciary, my god we get players rubbed out for weeks for throwing water, up turning a player in a tackle yet weeks later, same tackle they get off. Smith, Thurston.... They get away with heaps. Love my Eels, only reason I watch NRL.
    • Ofc game is corrupt , greenturd should not have been involved in the investigation NOR punishment of parra. He was implicated by his "advice " to Seward and was also his previous direct manager .

2 years later nothing against the player managers after they threatened to come clean about his the dogs

Hell On Eels replied to Johnny Suede's discussion Lomax legal promise could create salary-cap headache for Storm
"LB, Eli, good discussion gents. We've acted in good-faith. By the book. With clean hands. Lomax appears not to have. But regardless of that, equity is not unlikely to view a 3-year restraint until 31 Oct 28' as overly-punitive and read it down.
We'd…"
