I said at the start of the year I was concerned about our lack of options at fullback. Suggested we throw money at the best young talent in that position.
Reece Walsh would have been nice.Gutho would be more beneficial to our side as 5/8. Niu and his teammate Isaako who is better off on the flank would be a much needed injection of speed and allow us to tinker with our backline.
Isaako also gives you a talented ball striker both as a goal kicker and field goal exponent which we need as a second option to Moses especially come finals time. We've all seen what can happen recently when you can't turn 4 into 6.
Our scoring threat outwide at times is non existent and I was hoping the club would make some moves before August 1 but it looks like we're sitting on our hands.
We are in a premiership window but some bold moves player wise need to be made to get us over the line. As it stands our attack outwide doesn't extend the top teams defence which in turn puts pressure on our own.
The club should be constantly looking to improve the football department , recruiting players and coaching staff whenever an opportunity arises. The club seems very passive when going to market and needs to open the shoulders and be aggressive if they want to become the club they hope to be.
If you can't develop it buy it. If you don't your derelict in your duty.
The club should be in the business of winning grand finals our problem as a club at the moment is we're too rigid across the board.
Your play as a football team needs to evolve same as your roster . You can't expect to develop nor buy a premiership its a little of both. It's a constant evolution.
If the club has the attitude it's not going to go to market it's rediculous.
Its clear we're missing big game experience and option at the back and it needs to be remedied.
You have to do both developing and buying. Our CEO and former CEO have always stated this. We may be a development club but we should always be active in the player market.
"Personally I don't think gaining Lomax would cost us Talagi. He had a great 1st game and could possibly be better than Lomax when he gets going. He could move to the wing for some time to develop then move to the centres later. If he becomes better…"

I totally agree with your comments regarding the importance and benefits regarding local juniors at discounted rates, however, this is only a factor with their 1st contract if they show promise. Once a player starts showing they have regular…"
"Nah Tago is a centre who may later transition into the backrow. I believe Turuva will leave the club which is fair enough. I think May will move back to the wing and the Mclean brothers will start making their way into FG. Panthers have Laurie and…"

He would be a much better center option than Bleak and is very quick so we are no chance of chasing him.
He doesn't fit BA's concept of mediocrety.
I wouldn't say he is very quick. His is expolose (decent accleration) but his top speed is not very good. I would say Gutho has a better top speed.

We're not a club that throws money at anybody anymore.
When we were, all you guys could bitch about was us constantly paying overs, now that we don't we're not spending enough money.
The grass is never greener.

Yes please! Young, strong, on the rise and can break a tackle. Definitely provides cover in a few positions which is an upgrade on current backs
Yes please and not just because I want waqa gone or gutho to 6.
I like what I've seen of him and he can only get better.
Very talented young player. He's only nailing a spot here if his name is Tesi Arthur.
We have some very decent space in our cap. I like this guy. He goes very well and we definitely need some outside back talent.
