  • So is SMH http://www.smh.com.au/rugby-league/league-news/parramatta-to-move-d...

Not happy Jan... was looking forward to reacquaint myself with bay 66
  • I know I'll get slammed for saying this but I actually think it's a good thing. What's to say it there won't be 50,000+ Eels fans there? Plus think of the extra revenues. Plus it shows the Eels actually give a cuss about their fans. And as Osbourne says, he could hardly tell the Drags to do it and then not do it themselves. I know it's a crap ground to watch footy at but It's not like we're moving out there permanently or anything (well at least I hope we're not). Plus, think of the riots on the trains on the way home when the Drags lose. Or is that the Dogs?
  • Ah what the hell ,16 days and counting.Sunday at home to the scum will do as home opener.
  • Well guys I think it is a good move, after all home bush is kind of our second home.
  • I like it, I think i'll go to this game now. Should be an awesome atmosphere, much like the Doggies game last year.
  • Its not home though ... and takes longer to get to leagues after
  • can nobody see the big picture here??

more bums on seats = more money for parra !!!

i don't want to see parra merge with another team in the future

this is a blockbuster game which deserves 50,000 people
  • I see that point... I also dont want to be like the bunnies ,the dogs ,the roosters and the tigers, playing our home games at a soul less home which only comes alive when 50,000 turn up.,..and sometimes even then the place is quiet
    • fair point parraloft...but this is a block buster game, there are only 2 or 3 of these a year..we need to take advantage of these...parra stad will always be our home ground, but as we saw from the dogs game last year, when a game is promoted properly by channel 9, people will come out and watch..this is our home game, we keep all the $$$
      • Ok... I'll grin and bear it.Lets hope we get more than the Queensland clash, that would make me happy.. and Parra by 12

"cheers for that, I'm hoping that Will improves. I see too many easy paths taken on the field by him that needs improvement.
I'm assuming the coaching staff see that, and have a development plan for him."
