"Mixed bag" blog.

First off, big shout out to the T-Birds & Pink Ladies "original old school members" of the site that I miss dearly & made this site great once upon a time in cyber space.

Tudo bem? Saudades.

My sausage breaks through the batter whenever Kramer posts & my fun snorkel slapped violently againt my beer gut when Wiz & Frank posted today. I know Mick "The truffle hound" Chief and Mutts have stayed for the long haul. Kudos amigos.

HKF, Carlo, Macy, Al Hunt, Patsy, Snake, Fong & even later editions like Brett "know-all" Allen.... gone?

Unfortunately these days, if my seroquel hasn't kicked in by midnight, I log in and read some of the vanilla drivel which knocks me out cold.

"BA staying put" I call bullshit Brissyeel. By the way, did your ancestry.com results come in yet?

This is Brad's final year, excuse time is over, make of break season. The salary cap scandal is so far in the rearview mirror its not funny and after 8 years of rebuilding and uniterrupted building, it's preliminary final time or back to the Rouse Hill Rhinos sucking down Woodstock cans in the garage with the other "elite junior pathway coaches" and former team mates who sons, cousins, school mates etc etc all miracously make the junior rep teams. Ouch.

It comes as no surprise to those in the know, that we will never be the production line of juniors like the Panthers until the head of the snake is cut off. It starts at the top and has filtered all the way down to lets say the under 16 team in the eels system at present. Its just two kids right?

Many on here have questioned why Brad is reluctant to have a full time assistant coach with some runs on the board and credentials, well the junior coaches are stacked with ass whisperers who want to remain in the system so dont want to rock the boat by dropping certain players with contacts or bloodlines. There are already a truck load of talanted juniors who have moved on as a result.

Our junior pathways and development is unfortuantely still dog shit and riddled with personal agendas.

Development Players.

I have read some posts mainly about Jakob Arthur and Villami Penisini and wonder if some bloggers have actually seen the two play or just speculating?

Jakob is built like one minute to twelve and at a minimum is 2+ years away from being anywhere near ready to take the field against men at any level. It's not what you know.. blah, blah, blah and Jakob has been blessed in that regard his whole junior career which is the same amount of time his father has been head coach.

If you watched the school boyl final, as i did and can tell me his was a stand out worthy of a prized development contract you should also send a hair sample to ancestry.com

How much is a development contract worth? Each club is only allowed 4 this year I believe.

I hope we didnt lose a Ryan Papenhuyzen in the process by playing favourtites... what our junior system is riddled with.

Toxic is how it has been described by a former long term employee who now holds a very senior role at the Panthers.

Villami Penisini. This kid can play, and ticks all the boxes to be a first grade player, but it won't happen this year so those thinking he is the answer to replacing Jenko have gone off a bit early, but a future player to get excited about.

Well, time for a spearmint leaf fom the lolly bag before bed.... laced with THC ; )

Remember, don't shoot the messenger. Just sharing some facts, not fiction that might be of interest... even to the "unicorns"

Sharing used to be caring on the site, before having an opinion got you banned or bashed up by a select few who play god these days.

Boa noite, bons sonhos xx

You are not forgotten amiga and I have lost count of the amount of times I have to said to my wife"

"Carlo from the blog said to me, having kids is awesome, but a lot of f&%King hard work"

        Correct on both calls Carlo!

Little Bert is nearly 6 months now.

        • Wow 6 mths I love that age sooo cute

          • Carlo, condolences re your mum. Good to see you posting, too.

Our littlest and newest addition to our clan is in his terrible two's, bossing everyone around, but he's an angel, too that everyone loves.

Hope you and the family stay well. Best wishes to you.

            • Hey HOE two is a great age too !! Being a preschool teacher I truely love all ages to be honest ❤️Kids are the best

in saying that mum has become a child and Carlo is not a happy place now to visit 😥 dementia sucks esp as she was a really amazing lady she was Rex mossop and June Daly Watkins PA and also worked in the Australian embassy in Washington . She was an early greenie and followed peter Garrett and nuclear disarmament party and made me pack my sandwiches in bread bags in primary school to be sustainable

she taught me girls can be powerful - maybe that’s why I’m not scared or taking on you fellas

              thanks for your wishes x

              • Wow, Carlo. I can see why you're tough enough to deal with the madhouse, here. Kudos. Being a preschool teacher helps!

Much respect to your mum. She sounds like an amazing, inspirational woman and has lived a worthy, purposeful life. What a woman.

Yeah, you're right. Our little fella means the world to all of us, and all our other kids shower him with love.

                Stay well.

First off, let me start by saying I couldn't really care less about Zac leaving. There's enough red flags about decsions he's made off field and on it to show he might not be the full package.  Being 1 year into a 4 year deal and letting this crap…
