Teamsheet vs Tigers: Cayless is Wright to go

As expected Broderick Wright is missing from this week's side to face the Tigers but the return of Nathan Cayless in his place is the only change made to this week's named line-up. Cayless must still pass a fitness test, while the Eels have Feleti Mateo waiting in the wings for his opportunity. Meanwhile, Albert Kelly is missing from the Eel's NYC side and is believed to be gone for the season. In his absence TK Amosa has shifted to half with Jaydin Tavita to five-eighth. The Eels NYC season further capitulated last week with a heavy loss against the Warriors and they're only playing for pride now. 1 Jarryd HAYNE 2 Luke BURT 3 Krisnan INU 4 Joel REDDY 5 Eric GROTHE 6 Daniel MORTIMER 7 Jeff ROBSON 8 Nathan CAYLESS [C] 9 Matthew KEATING 10 Fuifui MOIMOI 11 Nathan HINDMARSH 12 Joe GALUVAO 13 Todd LOWRIE 14 Kevin KINGSTON 16 Ben SMITH 17 Tim MANNAH 19 Jeremy LATIMORE NYC 1 Dan CROSS 2 Ryan MORGAN 3 Domenic NASSO 4 Rory BRIEN 5 Brad GRAHAM 6 Jaydin TAVITA 7 TK AMOSA 8 Mitchell ALLGOOD 9 Daniel GALATI 10 Kene TE WHATA 11 Taniela LASALO 12 Royce HURA 13 Jason BAITIERI [C] 14 Josh TUITUPOU 15 Mitchell JOHNSON 16 Joel LATHAM 17 Peni TEREPO 19 Tim CRELLIN 21 Rodney MOEFAAUO

  • still no meteo or keating whats happening in da head
  • No numbers 15 or 18 named though...
    • Yer this is a tactic to worry the tigers, Ando's done it a few times this year. Unless Cayless fails his fitness test i don't think Mateo will play. Ando will most probably give him the weekend with Wenty where hopefully he'll score 4 tries and set up another 10.
  • Keating and mateo should be playing for us against the tigers
  • 6. Mateo and 7. Mortimer

    There I said it
    • No, just..no.
      • agreed robson to stay and mateo to bench OMG come on ando any side would kill to have him in there first grade squad its just a crime to have him play reserve grade.
  • Interesting to see no albert kelly you think the coaching staff are just sick of him. Happy to see him go hardely looks like he trys has no passion. Also the kid who comes in Jaydan Tavita has a big future dominated in sg ball this year. Should be good to see how he goes
    • The eels made the right decision letting Kelly go, given the opportunity to not turn up if not wanting to be there he decided to not turn up. Having walked out twice already during the season it does not surprise me at all.
Good luck to the sharks, they'll need it.

Poppa replied to Eli Stephens's discussion Dogs now heavy favourites for Galvin.
"That's a good analysis Adam, I don't doubt that Ryles wants him but I agree no need to engage desperation or fear in his circumstances. Interestingly if Stacey is the lynch pin from a dogs perspective then he could be a handy pick up for the Eels as…"

Nitram replied to Cʜɪᴇғy Mclovin's discussion Lachlan Galvin all but done at Parramatta.
"I thought he was definitely coming to parra. But the way bulldogs played last night, especially their fullback having a bit of an off game, makes me think there might be something to this.
I would imagine bulldogs would want him next year though.…"

Eli Stephens replied to Cʜɪᴇғy Mclovin's discussion Lachlan Galvin all but done at Parramatta.
"Probably defensively their worst performance in a long time and just looked disconnected. Wait till Galvin actually gets there and players feathers get ruffled. "

Poppa replied to Cʜɪᴇғy Mclovin's discussion Lachlan Galvin all but done at Parramatta.
"Not really Eli, the conditions were atrocious and the weakness that the dogs have (in those conditions) is a light mobile pack which was not suited. If you noticed the Dolphins played straight up the middle and made a lot of metres doing so. That…"
