Teamsheet: Eels unchanged for Dragons

PIRTEK Eels coach Stephen Kearney has stuck with the side that hung on for a last-minute victory against Gold Coast Titans last Sunday with the same 17 to take on premiers and co-competition leaders St George Illawarra at WIN Jubilee this Sunday.

Luke Burt will again play fullback where he impressed last Sunday. Carl Webb's calf injury has not recovered so the same four-man bench of Billy Rogers, Shane Shackleton, Mitchell Algood and Ben Smith will boost the starting 13.

  • Well I'm sure Billy "Roger That" Rogers will see game time. We will be defending like we have never before and if we win it will not be from chasing down the Dragons. We will be defending a lead and trying to tie the Dragons up in their 20.
  • Thats good Kearney has gone with an unchanged side
  • Dragons 13+.
  • In regards to this Billy Rogers bench saga, i have twittered a few people for an answer as to the reason or the game plan to this. Im very curious what sort of style Kearney is aiming for. Brad Walter, the writer for SMH wrote back to me today saying he is going to chase it up.
  • What's your name Bert, I'll follow you
  • With the 20's side, it says they too are fielding an unchanged side - someone correct me if I'm wrong, but did 14. Dean Blackman not start the game against the Titans? Could've sworn that he and Crellin were the two hookers interchanging.
  • r u kidding me ?

Webb isnt  injured  , SK  simply doesnt like  webb or humble , Thats why we dont see them

  • morts is a laughing stock  , and robo needs to visit the wizard of oz for a brain

murray and bruest should be this weeks halves

  • You do know there is a different reason as to why Humble is not playing.

It has nothing to do with Kearney not liking him either.
I'll have you know that Kearney actually holds Humble in high regard as a footballer, but there are certain things that are still restricting Humble from playing.
  • i bet you sit and wait for something to be posted about humble so you can quickly remind us that there are certain things that are restricting him from playing but cannot disclose the information.

i bet it makes you feel real important
