Teamsheet: Eels unchanged for Knights (R22)

As tipped exclusively by 1Eyed Eel yesterday, Parramatta has made no changes to the side that will take on the Newcastle Knights this weekend. Coach Daniel Anderson is sticking with the team that has racked up three consecutive wins, making this the fourth week in a row that the Eels have had an unchanged lineup. Also as predicted by 1Eyed Eel, neither Kris Keating or Feleti Mateo will line-up for Wentworthville either. The match will be take place at 3PM on Sunday at Parramatta Stadium. 1. Jarryd Hayne 2. Luke Burt 3. Kris Inu 4. Joel Reddy 5. Eric Grothe 6. Daniel Mortimer 7. Jeff Robson 8. Nathan Cayless 9. Matt Keating 10. Fuifui Moimoi 11. Nathan Hindmarsh 12. Joe Galuvao 13. Todd Lowrie 14. Kevin Kingston 15. Broderick Wright 16. Ben Smith 17. Tim Mannah

  • Mateo will be a late inclusion.
  • i want mateo to play
  • Still think both Keating & Mateo could be late inclusions
    • It's not what I've been told. As I said yesterday KK and Mateo both were told they would be sitting out this week
      • It could be crap, or just a bit of banter to stir up the knights. But the telegraph did have a quote from Ando in it today saying, that Keating, Mateo and Hauraki have all been told to be ready to play this week. As all three of them have apparently been cleared.

I thought that Hauraki was gone for the season, obviously his rehab went exceptionally well. Still i don't think he comes into our top17 atm regardless.
  • I'd rather we stuck with the same team, no late inclusions. Better for team morale and cohesion I reckon. Can't believe im calling for Lowrie to stay, haha.
  • Let's hope there's a big crowd on hand so we can influence some of the close calls as they love to do at Energy Aust. Stadium.
  • I work at wenty and the parra first grade manager phil moss has an optometrist there , word from him around 3 weeks ago was that mateo wouldnt play again this season and if he did it would be around round 25/26. Although that could of changed since then. What i heard on KK is round 23.
  • Wright has been the weak link in a good pack ... he needs to move on ...and be replaced ...with who?
    • take wright out and mateo in!
