This is just the life of an Eels supporter. Nothing seems like it’s ever going to change.
Think we are the hardest team in any sport in the world to support.

That's because there are too many vested interests in management, that don't put the club as no1 priority. If it was, they would have a world class coach and a football manager who has a fucking clue. This is not a quick fix. Our forwards are old and slow and backs are worse.
Agree, sadly it's no quick fix. But at the same time our patience is running decades thin.
I hear ya Eelsageme .....I hope you are old enough to remember the good ol days at least I have that...we are a team lacking in spirit guts and resolve.....we have not had it in near on 40 years...
In the middle 90s we tried to buy a comp with the 1994 bulldogs premeirship winning team
In the late 90s and early 2000s we were the chockers
we spent ten years since 2005 minor premiership with our hopes on a bloke in jail with a blip in 2009
and since 2014 we have put all our eggs into the basket with a bloke whos credentials is captain coach of group 9 in Vegemite valley in Dubbo
and now in 2024 after a few fluked end of year results we head to 40 years with no results......

Unfortunately despite being 146 in Eels years, I'm yet to experience our team winning the comp. Not sure I ever will.
