Team vs Newcastle

Pirtek Parramatta Eels coach Stephen Kearney has named a largely unchanged side for Sunday’s Round 6 clash against the Newcastle Knights.

  • Surely this wont be the starting line up , Moi moi and Paulo will start again .... wont they ????????

  • I don't know whether to laugh or cry.  It would be nice if Kearney named his actual team once in a while.

That said, even if Hindmarsh plays the rest of the year at prop, I expect he'll always wear the 11 shirt.. so, we'll never see the real team before kickoff.

  • Yeah I think moi moi would start again. Youd have to think someone is not that stupid to change a winning lineup.
  • Tautai, O'Hanlon, Horo? Geez, Lasalo must be their best trainer and Horo could be off to Penrith. Why buy Tautai and not give him a run?

    So many questions.....

    So many points against....

    • Tautai is surely on an incentive based contract as depth

    •

Maybe you should take the time and go and watch how bad they are all going at Wentworthville before calling for them in 1st grade.

  • does anyone know how Shackleton has been playing for Wenty?

    •

       Poor.

    • My brother went to the game & this is what he told me

"Horo was playing pretty badly untill he got hooked, think he was trying to hard. shack was great, ran hard, hit hard, played for 70 mins"

      "What about Tautai (10), O'Hanlon (11), Penese (13) or Ryan (15)?"

"O'Hanlon actually plays very well when given a chance. Very Hindy like. Tautai had some good hard runs. The other 2 didn't stand out."

    • I don't think it would make any difference how well Shackleton plays, he won't get picked after his comments about SK.

"I think Papalii has earned a call up, but not sure where. I think he's played wing before and he can come inside to play-make if needed too and added some more unpredictability especially next to Hawkins.
We have Tuilagi back tho so maybe that…"

"I think Ryles will do same. Name Samrani and put Doorey onto the bench. I would be tempted to name Papali'i for a debut, Manly have a big pack, why not some speed around that ruck."
