Looking at the latest team update from the Eels Website is indicating what most people were expecting and that being the great news is NO CHANGES! So Waqa and Jake are still playing Unless something unforeseen happens between now and kick off.

I'm trying to have faith......but its a struggle.
We knew Jake was never getting dropped. Brad said as much two weeks ago that Jake was just keeping the jersey warm for Dylan.
The last time BA played silly buggers with the team sheet, he did it on game day. So if there will be changes, they will be named tomorrow.
And there is the big f*<king problem right there Super!
Before JA even played a game, the old man had him penciled in for the next 3 regardless of performance.

I don't see it as a problem. A 3 game run helps his development long term. BA did that with Wiremu Greig, he did it with Stefano last year. BA didn't promote him over anyone else. The plan wasn't even to debut Jake this season. But a suspension and injury to the two front line options didn't leave him with much of a choice.

And just like that BA undoes all the hard work over the last 10 rounds by falling into old habits. This has always been his Achilles heal. Not replacing struggling players with someone better. It's hard to tell whether it's out of stubbornness or he's just that short-sighted. I would be very concerned if it's the latter as everyone can see that glaringly obvious defensive weakness on that side. Two things should have changed from last week. Waqa out of first grade and rankin coming into replace JA. Whilst JA may have a promising future last week showed he is just no physically or mentally ready for first grade.
3 big issues with our line-up.
1. Blake should be no where near the first grade squad.
2. JA is no where near ready for 1st grade. He was found out last week and will get found out this week to.
3. No props on the the bench.
Mitchell will run riot against our feeble right side defence and once our starting props come off we will have no go forward.
I am confident this will be our biggest loss of the season.
I agree totally BEM. I just don't understand his selection of players sometimes. Hope the Eels win though
