I think makatoa will play prop, niukore edge with papalii lock
I think they will leave Papali'i on the edge and play Niukore at Lock.
Papalii has a better passing game than niukore and the eels like to play off a middle as first receiver.
Anytime I have seen Papali'i play at lock, I haven't seen a passing game from him.
Niukore gets played at center when needed because of his defence and his passing game.
Sorry to disagree but Niukore has a far better passing game than Papali'i.
If you haven't seen papalii pass while playing lock you haven't watched closely enough.
The simplest thing to do would be to start N Brown at lock and leave everyone else where named, that will probably happen.
Have watched more than closely enough and stand by my statement.
Definitely agree the simplest and most sensible thing would be to just start NB at lock but when has BA ever done the simplest and most sensible thing.
Oh no i think Niukore to Lock and Makatoa to Prop. Papali'i at Lock is over, if he was going to do that he would have simply named Niukore at Second-row and Papali'i at Prop to begin with.
Makatoa starting makes sense over Kaufusi, Makatoa is not an impact player, better suited starting and giving a good 25 mins then bringing Brown and Kaufusi on.
I think the only reason they tried to move papalli is his edge defence isn't the best.
All I can say is FFS!
