Team list Tuesday

after a very good victory against the broncos, do we keep the same side? Where does Kane Evans come in?

We will beat the storm this weekend!

my side against the storm

1: C Gutherson ( c )

2: M Sivo

3: M Jennings

4: W Blake

5: B Ferguson

6: D Brown

7: M Moses

8: Jr Paulo

9: R Mahoney

10: K Evans

11: S Lane

12: M Mau

13: N Brown

14: D Alvaro

15: R Stone

16: M Nuikore

17: B Takarangi

18th T Moeroa

the reason I picked R Stone is he’s more of a mobile forward, we need to run the storm forwards off there feet, you can’t go thru the storm there to dominate, we have to play how we played against the broncos.

also Ray Stone can cover hooker If there is an injury to Mahoney

    • Agree. Tepai ahead of Stone

    • Agree also. Tep before Stone

  • While Tep played well on the weekend he hasn't been up to standard for a while. If a half or a hooker goes down we need a smaller mobile player to move into one of those positions so it's Stone for me with Tep as 18th man.

  • Lets be honest here all our forwards looked great against a broker Broncos side. But I agree with most Tepai was better then Stone last week so he gets the nod. Plus it could be his last game for us.

  • I think we need stone for a more mobile bench. Someone like Moeroa won’t be able to do much against the storm.

    • hmmm this is true

  • Not hard to pick a team for this match except you kept one of our smaller forwards in Stone (who did have a reasonable game defensively) and dropped Tep.

There are a number of players who can cover for Mahoney if he goes down - and against the Storm he may be stretched going the full 80 because you can bet he will be a massive target for Nelson and Bromwich.

  • Taka would be out for mine. Keep Tep and Stone.

    • I'min on this one.

There won't be any surprises at 4 pm but.
