Odds on the Super Dud selects exactly the same team that played brilliantly against South's last week only losing in a close game 26 -0. If I were the Super Dud I would select Moses if available from injury but if not I'd go with Gutho or Perham at 6 and put Brown at 7 and give Mahoney the rest of the year off and put Rein in at 9. I'd give Makaslower rest of the year off as well as Nuikore and Kaufusi and bring in Rodwell, Nathan Brown, Cartwright, Ogden or Greig.

It really doesn't matter because ba relies on each player playing to 110% of his abilities to win in a big match. BA lacks the footy knowledge when the team is down mentally a touch, thats why he will never win a premiership. He relies on everyone going flat out physically which everyone knows is impossible for 4 straight finals.
We are wasting precious time with Arthur still at tge helm. Defensively and attacking wise he relies too much on the collision and luck.
Any boxer can get a lucky punch in to win a match, but its the boxers with the best trained techniques who become champions.
Brissy, we can't even win 2 finals on the trot let alone 4.
Like i said Brissy, when the team are down 2% physically or mentally its game over with an Arthur coached team as he lacks the footy smarts to compensate for a natural drop

Brissy you miss the point mate. Ba relies on the bash and barge game to get him every win. The physical toll that has on players is impossible to maintain throughout 25 rounds and 4 finals. Sure he can get the surprise scalp against a big team but physically its impossible to win consecutive games with that style. Look at rcg and jnr, somtimes they just look out of it. You need the skill and smarts to win games comfortably somtimes and give the forwards a break.

Well that's my take. What's your take on why ba hasn't won only two finals games in 9 years and that against two drop kick teams in Newcastle and Brisbane.
Brisseyel it's not that simple, of course being physically dominant is important but that's doesn't tell the whole story of how the game played out - are you suggesting we had no opportunities to work our way game into the game? Thats a very narrow way of looking at what happened during the game - not buying dumb excuses by BA 'we go bashed" they strolled down the middle in the first set* what a load of BS like the game was over in a few minutes.. Dylan Brown missing in action in the first half - JA taking more responsibility and more touches of the ball didn't translate into anything, slow motion attack easy to defend and 2 7 tackle restarts in a big is a joke. Dylan Brown had to be dominate from minute 1, at 10 or 14 Nil the games not over if you're willing to hard play smart and change the momentum of the game ie turnaround the Souths pack around and kick early,work over the ruck and get Souths middled back pedalling with more creativety around the ruck - BA was outcoached and our middle destroyed and it kept on happening that's on BA.
It's a 80 minute Coryn, to single out the first set as BA did is pure BS - like I said being physical is a minimum but to suggest we couldn't claw our back is wrong, BA has had a long time with this group so to me the message is getting old and not getting through.Also, defensively what's BA excuse isn't this his bread and butter? Well Coryn we haven't seen any variation in the way we play so I'm expecting more of the same
It would have to be a new coach as none of the assistants that Brad Arthur has used have been usless. Brad Arthur prefers assistants that are less knowledgeable than he is so he's not threatened by them and he can control.
