Team list round one

Since we are only a week away from our round one team list getting picked... I thought I would Do a final team list.. Who deserves spots after our trails and the 9's? I'm picking a team list what I think and who should be there for round one.1: Michael Gordon2: Semi Radradra3: Michael Jennings4: Brad Takairangi5: Clinton Gutherson6: Corey Norman7: Kieran Foran (c)8: Junior Paulo9: N Peats10: T Mannah (c)11: Manu Ma'u12: B Scott13: Kenny Edwards14: Tepai Moeroa15: Danny Wicks16: Peni Terepo17: Kaysa Pritchard18th man David GowerBevan French form was really good in the trails, and 9's but he needs some more game time in the lower grades will get he's chance in 2016 with injuries.Even know Kaysa Prichard isn't in our top 25, I would still go with him he's very quick and will give us more spark around the ruck then Isaac Degois. And Peni Terepo just beats David Gower for a bench spot after a very good trail game against the PanthersAlso Daniel Alvaro will get a chance during the year to play first grade.Predicting Anthony Watmough will be injured come round one. Expected to be back round 3 I'm hearing, so I think Kenny Edwards gets a start in the 13 after a very good game in the panthers trail.

  • Firstly Tepai will start at lock I think. He can take the initial softening period and then let Kenny on when the defense is tiring.

I havent seen Wicks play in any of the FG trial etc so Im assuming they will bring him back slowly and that will probably mean missing round 1. That should go to Gower, as he looked good in the trial and can offload. Im not sure who is first in line between Alvaro and Terepo but after last year Id expect Alvaro to get first crack as hes done nothing wrong.

Kaysa? Yeah, nah, cant agree. I think we need a backup for Peats returning from injury and some experience given the early teams we're up against. IDG will probably get the nod as Kaysa is just as big a risk injury wise as Peats.

Apart from that I agree lol

  • Seeing as though Kaysa didn't get a run in the trial I'm thinking Degois will get the start over him.

Also I think Gower is favoured over Wicks at this stage. I do like Gower because makes pretty good yards and can take pressure off the halves.

  • I was hoping Tanginoa would be in the running

  • Swap Pritchard for Cody Nelson.

Prtchard has had his day in the sun before, he is too prone to injuries and would be a wasted pick in the top 25 or even second tier.
    • Dont think Cody is in the top 25 and therefore ineligible for a bench spot.

  • Yep, but
    - Tep 13
    - Edwards 14
    - Gower and Terepo
    - IDG or Alvaro
