The Parramatta Eels line up to take on the Penrith Panthers at Bankwest Stadium on Thursday 23 May in Round 11 of the NRL Telstra Premiership has been named by Blue & Gold Head Coach Brad Arthur, with the sides kicking off NRL Indigenous Round.
Following a 17-10 defeat to the North Queensland Cowboys last week, Arthur has made a handful of changes to his side with Maika Sivo returning from suspension on the wing and Blake Ferguson named in the centres shifting Brad Takairangi to the bench.
Tim Mannah comes into the starting side along Junior Paulo in the front row with Shaun Lane, Marata Niukore and Manu Ma’u remaining in the back row & lock positions.
David Gower also returns to the Blue & Gold line up, named on the bench alongside Takairangi, Peni Terepo and Daniel Alvaro. Jaeman Salmon, Bevan French, Kane Evans and Oregon Kaufusi are on the reserves.
Manu Ma’u will play his 100th NRL game.
Kick off will be at 7:50pm. Click through to purchase your tickets to the clash.

Taka gone .. good
George Jennings rewarded for costing us another game .. and pretty much everything else = bad
Congrats to all of you who deemed BA worthy of a new deal. Enjoy the mediocrity .
Look I think I would’ve kept Taka at centre another week knowing that Mennings is still not available. Too much disruption moving Fergo to center to partner Hoffman all whilst keeping Gennings on the wing after last week...........like WTF?
If he was going to sack Taka send him to Wenty where he can’t effect this games result, not the bench FFS.
At the end of the day at least we can say that BA is trying something...
Oregon yes not salmon he isnt ready and it shows
Hate to dampen your enthusiasm Bug but Smith was signed for two years that end November 2020.
He had a great 2017 and was given an extension beginning of 2018 for 2 more years end of 18,
It's worse than Kearney as Kearney didn't hang around for 8+ years.
I'd say it's worse than Kearney because the team Kearney had was a bunch (mostly) nobodies. This team under Arthur has talent but lacks proper direction.
Yep id agree Brads getting worse than SK now, Brads starting to get the deer in the headlights look every presser.
Brad also hates admitting theres any type of problem, he thinks it will reflect badly on his position imo.
Hes starting to get further away from reality every week in the pressers, its getting very embarrassing for him.
Just imagine if we miss the 8, Brad said he was embarrassed to walk in public last year, its going to get a lot worse for him.
But no one expected us to make the finals. We've been overachieving up until now. I said from the start we'd probably finish around 10th-12th. This team has talent but there are still major pieces missing.
Might have talent but at least Kearney was only here for 1 year ( wasn't it?) Compared to this clown which will be 8+ years. What a horrible thought.
I know when things are real bad, when i see Macks even had enough and given up on the coach.
Macks usually pretty patient with coaches and players, it must be real bad that even hes dirty.
