Outside of the 2 in the team none of those players are eligible for the 20's this year. It is very disappointing that the club hasn't released even a list of the squad.
What makes that even more "interesting" is that this age group were National Champions as Under 16s.
I reckon there might only be three players from that Harold Matts team that won nationals.
I'm still unsure of throwing SG Ball boys into NYC this early. If they're good enough and winning that's fine, but if you get an NYC team getting thumped every week, I don't think it's great for creating that winning culture in your club.
Its certainly weird to me that they have 10 players listed for the NYC, yet can only pick two of them. The club can pick a team of 23 players yet have nothing about the vast majority of them in the eels gallery/profile page a bit poor for me.
So with only 2 of the 10 eligible for the NYC this year I gather that is the under 20's what happens to them?
I expect only Afualo and maybe Fonua to be in the team when we're at full strength.
I would suggest that the players also would be disappointed as well
